A Metro Detroit therapist, Carrie Krawiec from the Birmingham Maple Clinic in Michigan, was recently featured on local news show the Bloomfield Township Bottom Line to teach Bloomfield residents about depression, its symptoms, and practical knowledge about understanding clinical depression better.
Lori Edelson, Clinical Director of the Birmingham Maple Clinic, had this to say about the interview: “Bloomfield Township is a central area that the Birmingham Maple Clinic works with, and this interview hopefully helped people understand and recognize depression easier, and get help for themselves or their families sooner.”
The interview went from discussing common depression symptoms, to strategies for approaching someone about their potential depression, to dealing with depression in teens and adolescents.
