BLUE Software Appoints Ruben Castano as Chief Revenue Officer

Castano will lead the BLUE sales team and develop new business opportunities while managing enterprise customers worldwide

BLUE Software (http://www.bluesoftware.com), a leading provider of label and artwork management (LAM) technology, today announced its recent hire of Ruben Castano, who joins the BLUE Software management team as Chief Revenue Officer. Ruben will be responsible for the leadership of the BLUE sales team, developing new business opportunities as well as managing enterprise customers worldwide.

Ruben comes to BLUE with 20+ years of proven business experience in the B2B and software application industries. Prior to joining BLUE Software, Ruben honed his strategic sales and management skills at 1WorldSync, GS1 US, Sterling Commerce, Parametric Technology Corporation, and Automatic Data Processing, respectively. Ruben is well known in the industry and has a track record of facilitating long-term business relationships with both customers and industry organizations, having had the opportunity to work closely with leading multi-national organizations in the CPG/general merchandise, food service, hardlines and health care industries throughout his career.

Ruben holds a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Texas in San Antonio, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
