There are hundreds of Fitness Apps all over the App Store with features such as calorie counters, step counters, generic food selection menus or some other traditional method aimed at weight loss.

The trouble is many of these types of applications are only as useful as the information put into them and many use very generic algorithms which are the same for someone who is 100 pounds or 1000 pounds.

Enter the BodyRipped MotiVision App which has taken a completely different approach for keeping users accountable. The app uses a combination of functionality and a user’s own vision to create results.

There are 3 main components to the app which are very useful and engaging for the fitness enthusiast looking to achieve some results.

The most popular component is the Youtube feature which contains over 75 different workout videos. The app automatically pushes out every new video added to the BodyRipped Youtube channel. These videos include both complete follow along workouts, training and nutrition tips, exercise demonstrations and short videos with workout overviews. You can use the app and watch the videos on both your iPhone and iPad as it is compatible with both platforms.

The next feature built into the app is an adjustable Round Timer. This type of timer is designed to be used with the videos or your own workouts. Many of the BodyRipped training workouts are designed in a HIIT format which is High Intensity Interval Training. This training style utilizes a work/rest/round format where you are working intensely for a designated time period such as 40 seconds, then resting for 20 seconds and doing this sequence for a specific number of rounds. These numbers can all be put into the timer and different alarms can be selected to indicate the work period and the rest period.

There is a 3rd feature which contains sub features within it and it is perhaps the most unique part of the app. This feature is called the Motivision window and it utilizes the power of creating vision boards as a method of accountability. By uploading images personally chosen which represent the users' focus and goals, a vision board is created. The ability to insert text on the images allows for positive messaging to remind the user of their goals and successes.

“I wanted to build a simple app that would use the proven power of vision and image focus to achieve results. People are sick of counting calories and foot steps. This energy could be used to focus on their goals and vision. People want results and this is no longer a game of pounds, it’s a game of inches which is a much different focus and thought process. I want to use people’s own power to get them to a place they can be happy with,” says BodyRipped owner and professional bikini model Kyla Gagnon.
