Boopsie, Inc. today announced it has signed Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), a multi-service language school for active and reserve components, foreign military students, and civilian personnel working in the federal government and various law enforcement agencies. DLIFLC’s decision to collaborate with Boopsie to support their transition to digital resources demonstrates that the leading mobile platform-as-a-services provider for libraries worldwide is gaining traction in the military library market.

The app will connect users to these high quality resources on a user-friendly interface.

“Our students are often unaware of the vast number of resources that are available to them through the Library and we don’t have the technical support to build a tool that will address this issue,” says Melanie Barney, Public Services Librarian at DLIFLC’s Aiso Library. “By partnering with Boopsie, we’re looking to increase the usage of resources by streamlining the research process, dramatically decreasing the number of steps it takes for these students to access the information that they need.
