Egan’s Fit Body Boot Camp in Honolulu Supports Breast Cancer Awareness by Launching “Bootcamp for Boobies", Donating 100% of the Proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Honolulu, HI (PRWEB) October 04, 2013 -- In an effort to support October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local celebrity Egan Inoue’s Fit Body Boot Camp in Honolulu is getting ready to launch “Bootcamp for Boobies”, a charity boot camp campaign whose goal is to raise funds for the non-profit organization, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, all while getting the community in great shape in a fun beach setting.
Each Saturday in the month of October, including the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, Fit Body Boot Camp will be offering a beach boot camp workout at Ala Moana Beach Park, Lifeguard Stand #1D. The cost to participate in “Bootcamp for Boobies” will be $5 per person for the one hour boot camp workout. There will also be “Bootcamp for Boobies” t-shirts available for a $20 donation. All proceeds collected from the event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Excited to be delivering a fun, full-body beach workout to the community for a great cause, owner of Fit Body Boot Camp Honolulu, Egan Inoue, explains why he wanted to launch “Bootcamp for Boobies”. He says, "As a father of four girls and a business owner whose client base is 80% women, this is a cause that is very important to me. I am so fortunate to see women transforming their lives through fitness every day, but that is only one aspect of good health. It's important that women also stay on top of their exams and take preventative measures to stay healthy.”
Being a professional athlete, Egan has won world championships in jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts, racquetball and currently holds multiple black belts in half a dozen different martial arts disciplines. Using his athletic background to help the community get in shape, Egan says, “as a former professional athlete, I have a unique set of experiences that has helped fine-tune a unique approach to health, fitness, and weight loss. My boot camp knows what it takes to succeed, and we also know what holds people back.”
Egan is not only known for his extensive athletic record, but he is also known for his work in training the stars of the newer revamped version of Hawii Five-0, such as Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan. He has even played the role of Ha'i'ole, the bodyguard to Wo Fat, in a 2011 episode.
