Serious Buyer Announces His Search for Vintage 1964 Bob Dylan Boston Symphony Hall Concert Posters
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) December 29, 2014 -- Serious Buyer, Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for vintage 1964 Bob Dylan Boston Symphony Hall concert posters. Dylan would return and play the Boston area often during the 1960s. Dylan played the Boston Symphony Hall on October 24, 1964. According to Hawley, “The poster measures 11 x 17 inches and was printed by Metropolitan Show Print a local printing company. The same poster layout was used a year later for Bob Dylan’s 1965 performance at the Troy Armory In Troy, New York.
The poster was printed on thick cardboard and features a simple head shot of Dylan that was commonly used on Dylan concert posters in the early to mid-1960s. Approximately 300 posters and 1,000 handbills were printed up for each show. They were passed out at record shows and hung up in shop and music stores around Boston. Dylan played Brandeis University a year earlier and in 1965 he played the Backbay Theatre.”
