Author Brent M. Zolman translates the Greek New Testament into English in what he says is a more accurate translation and offers his unique thoughts and understandings of the text in his new book, “Analytical New Testament: An English Translation with Greek Parsing” (published by WestBow Press).
Written for clergy members and Greek and Bible study students, “Analytical New Testament” offers a comprehensive reading of the New Testament with Greek accuracy and English readability in mind. In his translation, Zolman includes various helpful aides:
- Potential parsing of each verb, participle and infinitive in linear format.
- English tenses matched with Greek tenses.
- Indication of words added into translation.
- Two parsing keys as well as guide to symbols, abbreviations and words.
Zolman’s book strives to present the most accurate translation of the Greek New Testament. By showing the potentially different meanings of certain Greek words, Zolman explains how modern Bible translations may not be entirely accurate. He hopes his book will help readers better understand the New Testament.
