We’ve been in the specialty coffee business for a while, so we’re excited to have developed an innovative appliance that provides an easy, at-home dairy alternative for consumers around the world.

The Brewista, Inc. team traveled to Chicago last week to showcase NutraMilk, the first ever nut processing machine, at the IHA Global Innovation Awards. The appliance, which launched on Kickstarter last week, expedites the homemade nut milk making process. Now, consumers can enjoy fresh, homemade nut milk, from virtually any type of nut or seed, in less than 12 minutes. The appliance can also grind raw nuts and seeds into a thick, creamy nut butter at the push of a button.

“We’re honored to have been nominated at the IHA Global Innovation Awards,” said Brian Gross, President of Brewista. “We’ve been in the specialty coffee business for a while, so we’re excited to have developed an innovative appliance that provides an easy, at-home dairy alternative for consumers around the world.”

The IHA Global Innovation Awards tapped NutraMilk as one of five finalists in the Kitchen Electrics category. A panel of industry experts and news media personnel judged over 500 entries from around the world. From there, each organization displayed their latest product invention to over 62,000 attendees.

NutraMilk made an impression at the awards show for its ability to cut down a traditionally tedious process of making homemade nut milk. To use the appliance, consumers simply add nuts, set the timer and press the “butter” button. From there, if consumers wish to make milk, they simply add water to the nut butter and press the “mix” button. It’s a fast, simple process that is not only cost effective, but also easy-to-clean and dishwasher safe.

NutraMilk is now available to preorder on Kickstarter starting at only $240 for U.S. and Canadian backers. However, the Brewista team recently announced their ability to ship a 220v NutraMilk version worldwide with a later ship date. For information on NutraMilk, visit the campaign at bit.ly/NutraMilkKS.
