National franchise expansion continues for insurance retailer

Leading independent insurance agency Brightway Insurance recently opened a Charlotte location at 6316-C Old Sugar Creek Road.

Roy Schoolfield, a North Carolina native, is the associate agency owner for the third North Carolina Brightway Insurance location.

“Bringing value to the community is something that is very important to me and I’m excited to bring a new Brightway location to Charlotte,” said Schoolfield. “The opportunity to own and operate an independent insurance agency allows me to enjoy a life-long relationship with the community and my customers.”

Prior to opening a Brightway Insurance store, Schoolfield worked in the insurance industry for many years. He is actively involved in his community, including being a member of the Charlotte North Rotary Organization.

Brightway agents consistently sell more new personal lines policies than other independent agents because they have access to more than twice the number of insurance carriers that other independent agents do. This allows them to offer their customers a broader selection of insurance companies from which to choose.
