Migdole, consultant for Brookhaven Retreat and Chief Operating Officer of Yale Behavioral Health and the Yale Program on Supervision, provided clinical consultation to the Primary Therapists focusing on therapeutic strategies, risk management and treatment planning. Ensuring the quality of care provided at Brookhaven Retreat is foundational to the facility’s mission and its day-to-day work with its clientele. Migdole provides these consultations regularly to help Brookhaven Retreat remain current on national trends in behavioral health, while working with staff members to provide the highest quality of clinical care.
Migdole, also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine, has worked with Brookhaven Retreat around staff development and support for more than five years. His consultations regularly help staff to review standards of care, establish clinical strategies for acute clientele and translate complex administrative requirements into practice. This helps to support the Brookhaven Retreat philosophy around ensuring the uniqueness, safety and comfort of each client served at the facility.
