Brookhaven Retreat ® LLC held a half-day clinical consultation session with Scott Migdole, LCSW, ACSW on November 20, 2015.
Migdole, consultant for Brookhaven Retreat and Chief Operating Officer of Yale Behavioral Health and the Yale Program on Supervision, provided clinical consultation to the Primary Therapists focusing on therapeutic strategies, risk management and treatment planning. Ensuring the quality of care provided at Brookhaven Retreat is foundational to the facility’s mission and its day-to-day work with its clientele. Migdole provides these consultations regularly to help Brookhaven Retreat remain current on national trends in behavioral health, while working with staff members to provide the highest quality of clinical care.
Migdole, also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine, has worked with Brookhaven Retreat around staff development and support for more than five years. His consultations regularly help staff to review standards of care, establish clinical strategies for acute clientele and translate complex administrative requirements into practice. This helps to support the Brookhaven Retreat philosophy around ensuring the uniqueness, safety and comfort of each client served at the facility.
Founder of Brookhaven Retreat, Jacqueline Dawes, says, “We are whole-heartedly committed to providing clients with the absolute highest quality possible. In order to do this, we have consultants like Mr. Migdole, who make sure we are serving the public properly and exceedingly well. People put their trust in us and their well-being means everything. Scott Migdole has been instrumental in our success and we are fortunate and grateful to have him on board. His expertise and involvement are essential to our mission.”
