Brown, Kaszak & Associates, a Maryland based investigative firm, was retained by a local businessman to investigate a matter of harassment after ending a relationship with Harvey-Jones. Through the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Ms. Harvey-Jones was allegedly utilizing various spoofware and spyware technologies to send harassing texts and emails to their client, representing herself as other individuals. During the investigation, it was also discovered that Harvey-Jones allegedly altered court documents by forging charging documents, including a court commissioner’s signature. As result of the cooperative effort between the private investigative firm of Brown, Kaszak, & Associates and the Baltimore County Police, Harvey-Jones was subsequently arrested and charged with forgery of a public document in the District Court of Maryland in Baltimore County, under case number 5C00433480.

Steve Brown, partner and private investigator at Brown, Kaszak, & Associates, discovered that the forgery resulted from charges that Harvey-Jones received in July 2015 by the Baltimore County Police under case number 4C00416350, filed in the District Court of Maryland in Baltimore County. According to public records, Harvey-Jones was found guilty of illegal computer access and received a term of probation. Harvey-Jones allegedly used information in those charging documents from July 2015 in the forgeries presented in this case. It should be noted that the same Baltimore County Detective was the arresting officer in both cases involving Harvey-Jones, and according to the charging documents, "immediately recognized the charges as the identical charges that Raychel Harvey-Jones was charged with on July 29, 2015."

The investigative firm of Brown, Kaszak, & Associates has appeared on NBC Dateline, the Investigation Discovery Network and True Crime for their work on a double homicide for profit investigation spanning from New York to California.
