By adding UVIS integration, we improved the process, added to the data capture which now provides a more comprehensive solution.

Building Intelligence Inc. is providing security officers and loading dock staff the technology to capture and recognize images from an Underground Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS). Building Intelligence's SV3® has the ability to process the vehicles before they enter a secure area. As an additional module, the license plate read captured from the UVIS product can be incorporated into the data. Building Intelligence Inc. will be demonstrating SV3®Mobile at GSX in Booth 4029, at the Las Vegas Convention Center September 25-27.

Building Intelligence extends SV3® capabilities to support operations without wires, with the additional feature of using the UVIS camera for gathering license plates, security guards can obtain a more accurate vehicle identity, expedite the process, and reduce mistakes by gathering more data on each entry. Background services and integrations can trigger additional warnings to alert groups to take action.

“By adding the UVIS integration, we improved the process, added to the data capture which now provides a more comprehensive solution.” says Jeffrey C. Friedman, CEO of Building Intelligence. “Building Intelligence continues to improve its core offering for security, logistics, accountability and efficient operations.”

With SV3®, a security officer can check a vehicle or driver against a watch list. The officer can see if the vehicle is part of the fleet from a contractor, an owned vehicle by someone on campus or see if the vendor has been there before. With a suspicious vehicle, the security officer may capture the license plate and send the data to the operations center for a deeper look into why the vehicle is on site. The combined integrations and workflow of process from SV3 mobile to the web application, serves Building Intelligence’s clients with a complete solution to manage Trusted Access.
