Bupa’s New Market Driven Flex Plan Now Available for Pacific Prime Clients
(PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- Pacific Prime Clients have gained a new option for short-term international medical insurance with the recent launch of Bupa Flex, an innovative new plan from Bupa that provides extensive medical cover for a period of three to eleven months.
The Bupa Flex plan combines the best aspects of a traditional medical plan and a short-term travel plan, allowing the client to receive full treatment at a local facility, whether the treatment is an emergency or not, within a short flexible period of cover. Clients can even choose the specific date they wish to be covered until.
The Bupa Flex plan covers in-patient and day-case treatments with the the option to include out-patient treatments. Out-patient treatments include surgical operations, pathology, x-rays, and diagnostic tests. In-patient and day-case treatments include physicians' fees, intensive care, nursing care, and more.
The Bupa Flex Plus option is a very unique short term plan with an extended range of out-patient treatments such as prescribed drugs, accident-related dental treatment, and vaccinations, which would traditionally never be included in a travel plan. For both the Bupa Flex and Bupa Flex Plus options, the benefit limit is USD 1,700,00 (€1,200,000).
Whereas most other short term plans require full payment up front for the entire insured period, the Bupa Flex plan has optional payment frequencies. Clients can either make one lump-sum payment or pay monthly, though the first three month's must be received in one payment. Clients also have the option for a deductible of US $1,700 (€1,250).
With Bupa Flex, clients have access to the same hospital network offered to clients on Bupa's annual IPMI plans like the Lifeline and Worldwide Health Options plan. As the leading IPMI provider in the world, Bupa offers access to more than 200,000 medical providers – 7,500 of which offer direct settlement.
With these innovative new products, Bupa is once again showing why it deserves its status as the industry leader. The experts at Pacific Prime are eager to see how clients will respond to this unique short-term cover option in the following months.
