DALLAS, TX (PRWEB) January 19, 2015
MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain will soon be able to satisfy the taste buds of burger enthusiasts in Wisconsin as the state’s first MOOYAH restaurant is due to open in June 2015. The brand’s entry into the state will be led by two local owners with experience with the Subway brand, the father-sons team of Randy Bergeson and his sons, Lucas and Josh, in Fitchburg and Punit “John” Jaiswal in Brookfield. The Brookfield restaurant will be located in a new plaza in Brookfield Square Mall at 95 Moorland Road while the Fitchburg restaurant will be located at 6309 McKee Road, Fitchburg. As part of the brand’s proactive strategy in Wisconsin, they will be targeting Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Kenosha, Racine, and Appleton, seeking partnerships with qualified local franchisees to open up to 10 locations in the next three years.
“We’re looking forward to offering a new dining option for friends and families across Wisconsin,” said Michael Mabry, Chief Operating Officer for MOOYAH. “MOOYAH’s commitment to quality of product and outstanding service make it the perfect fit for the Wisconsin market, and we’re confident in the Bergeson’s and John’s abilities to make a positive impression on new and existing MOOYAH Guests.”
Randy Bergeson grew up in the restaurant business, and has raised his own sons in the same environment. After working at his family restaurant, Bergeson went on to manage Hardee’s and Culver’s restaurants for 15 years. For the past 15 years, he has been running three Subway restaurants in southwest Wisconsin, and will continue overseeing them while building the MOOYAH brand in Fitchburg.
Josh Bergeson and Lucas Bergeson will be relocating to Fitchburg to be the faces of the family’s new business. Both sons are recent business graduates from the University of Wisconsin, and this will be their first venture together as brothers.
“Everyone loves a great burger and fries, which is why we decided to bring MOOYAH to our home state,” Randy Bergeson said. “We believe that MOOYAH will appeal to a wide range of people—Guests can come with their families or come hang out with their friends. MOOYAH also offers my family an opportunity to grow our business together.”
Following the opening of his flagship restaurant, Jaiswal will continue to expand primarily in Milwaukee County and Waukesha County. Based on his extensive business experience, Jaiswal is poised for success in introducing the brand to the state. Jaiswal worked at a bank as a mortgage servicer for more than seven years before opening his first Subway franchise eight years ago. To this day, he has opened 10 Subway locations across the greater Milwaukee area, in addition to a gas station and liquor store.
“I am positive that residents of Brookfield and beyond will enjoy dining at MOOYAH as much as I do,” Jaiswal said. “There are a lot of burger lovers here in the cheese state, and I wanted to open a new and unique burger concept that would appeal to all Guests. I think MOOYAH’s food is phenomenal and the atmosphere of its restaurants is very welcoming; the brand fits Wisconsin perfectly.”
At MOOYAH, Guests have the advantage of choosing from a variety of bread options, such as baked in-house artisan white or multigrain wheat buns and hand-crafted lettuce wraps to accompany either the never-frozen 100 percent American beef patty, Jennie-O turkey patty or the mouthwatering veggie burger. Each gourmet burger creation comes with a selection of unlimited veggies and a choice of nine delicious sauces.
MOOYAH French fries come together in a six-step process that takes a total of 24 hours to completely prepare. A delightful combination of constant attention and a little magic help transform U.S. #1 Idaho potatoes into perfect, crisp-on-the-outside and fluffy-on-the-inside fries. Never one to forget dessert, MOOYAH offers real ice cream shakes, allowing Guests to choose from 10 flavors ranging from vanilla to Hershey’s chocolate to M&M to strawberry banana and more.
The burger franchise shows no signs of slowing down and aims to deliver a simple American classic that’s not only made well, but produced in a friendly and comfortable environment to new and fresh markets in the future. In 2015, MOOYAH aims to continue expanding their presence across the country, with a focus on Atlanta, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and Cincinnati.
