Businessing Magazine, the digital magazine dedicated to providing insights and information for small business owners, today announced it has exceeded 2,000 subscribers.

About 75% of U.S. businesses don’t have employees, so there’s a massive population of tiny businesses looking for helpful resources. We knew creating a magazine for this group was smart. We just didn’t expect that it would be adopted so quickly.

Businessing Magazine, the digital magazine dedicated to providing insights and information for small business owners, today announced it has exceeded 2,000 subscribers. This milestone was reached only two months after the magazine’s launch in July 2014. The magazine, which caters to small business owners and entrepreneurs, can be found at BusinessingMag.com.

“We’re amazed at the response small business owners immediately had to the magazine,” said Matt Smith, Editor-in-chief of Businessing Magazine and CEO of Modmacro, Inc. “We know that the vast majority of businesses in the U.S. are small. In fact, about 75% of U.S. businesses don’t have employees, so there’s a massive population of tiny businesses looking for helpful resources. We knew creating a magazine for this group was smart. We just didn’t expect that it would be adopted so quickly. The publication is still in its early days, and we have big plans for expansion. The magazine covers small business topics from startups and money to marketing, strategy, management and more. Another cornerstone of the publication is featured interviews with small business owners that are published periodically. Subscriptions to Businessing Magazine are currently free and can be obtained easily on the website by providing an email address. Subscribers are kept up-to-date via a weekly email which typically includes a preview of the latest featured articles with links to read them in full.
