Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 08, 2016 -- Garth Brooks is currently on the fourth leg of his world tour with Trisha Yearwood. The country artists kicked off their tour on September 4, 2014 in Rosemont, Illinois. Brooks came out of retirement to go on tour for the first time in 13 years. He launched the tour to support his 2014 album Man Against Machine.
The tour has already made stops all over the United States and Canada. The North American leg of the tour is expected to continue through next year, and later shows will take place in Europe, Australia, and South America.
When tickets went on sale for the first shows in Illinois, 180,000 tickets were sold in three hours. Brooks has broken records for ticket sales at many venues. He held the previous records for ticket sales in many cases. With 201,000 tickets sold and 11 shows, the tour broke the record for the most tickets sold for shows in one North American city as well as the most concerts held in a single city.
Due to high demand, multiple shows have been added in many cities. In some cases, Brooks performs two shows per night. Brooks has already broken the previous record for the most all-time concerts in a tour. He also held the previous record. If current ticket sales continue, the tour is expected to break attendance and revenue records.
A new city on the tour is announced every few weeks to generate excitement and to prevent ticket resale. In most cases, two or three shows are announced initially in each city and others are added if necessary based on sales figures.
In addition to Garth Brooks tickets, buyTickets.com offers a wide variety of discounted concert tickets, sport tickets, theater tickets, and other event tickets, all 100% guaranteed to be authentic and delivered on time.
