New Book ‘Offerings’ Unites Theology With Scientific Theory
SEVERNA PARK, Md. (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- Author and retired pastor Byron Paul Brought shares his philosophical thoughts and ideologies on the nature of the universe and God in his new book, “Offerings: Thoughts on What Matters Most” (published by WestBow Press).
Brought seeks to answer some of the tough philosophical questions such as whether or not there is a God and what the purpose of life truly is. He also tackles questions regarding human nature and illustrates how suffering does not negate the concept of God.
“Offerings” is intended for personal use as well as group discussions. Through his writings, Brought advocates for religious faith while incorporating scientific theories such as the theory of evolution, which he believes to be compatible with the Bible. He aims to affirm the existence of God for his readers and strengthen their faith.
“It is my hope to bring faith to non-believers, restore faith in those who have lost it and strengthen faith in those who now believe,” writes Brought. “I would like readers to see that God can be revealed in something as simple as a fallen leaf or daffodil.”
