“Letters From God: Volume 1: Finding Me”: a poetic meditation on the Father’s call, is the creation of published author C. T. Young, a mother and grandmother. She is a lover of nature and lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina
Young writes, “God speaks across dimensions of time and says,
‘The world awaits to be fed.’
‘Not by any hand, but by your gifted hands,’ He said.
Who am I? I ask.
Insignificant and small I am to such an awesome wonder as He.
I have no worthy feast to bring to a table set for so many.
How can I feed the world?
But the world still waits…
“Letters from God Volume 1: Finding Me is the first in a series of upcoming books that contain poetic reflections of a journey into finding one’s self and finding God’s purpose in each of our lives. This collection was inspired by the author’s own personal quest to know who God really is and to find answers to the question of purpose in our everyday life. The discovery of the spiritual gifts given freely to each of us by God to reach others can be an enormous and sometimes confusing journey, but if you sit still long enough, you will hear his quiet voice of instruction for you and realize that you are not in this alone. He is and will always be there to lead if you are willing to follow. Finding God is finding you.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, C. T. Young’s new book is a beautiful and authentic voice in the choir singing of God’s attentive faithfulness.
Young ponders on the intricacies of God’s heart for His children as well as all the ways a Christian today can learn to tune in to His heart and hear the still, quiet voice of love.
