Cahill & Miller Group with Allen Tate Realtors Helps Fort Mill Students Get ‘Classroom Ready’
Fort Mill, SC (PRWEB) August 23, 2017 -- Real estate duo Tracey Miller and Kelly Cahill, of The Cahill & Miller Group and Allen Tate REALTORS®, recently volunteered their time for the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools by helping them to pack backpacks with donated school supplies for children in the Fort Mill School District.
“We were helping get our children ‘classroom ready,’” said Tracey, whose husband is an educator in the Fort Mill School District. “Part of our participation also included donating water bottles to elementary-aged children, allowing them to have water on their desk during the school day.”
Ardent supporters of students and teachers of the Fort Mill School District, The Cahill & Miller Group in the past has also donated bicycles and helmets to a local Fort Mill elementary school through the Angel Tree program and participated in Career Day at local middle schools. Additionally, at the end of the previous school year, Tracey and Kelly on National Teacher Day fed over 100 teachers at Fort Mill High School with pizza.
“Our children really are our future,” added Kelly. “We have been so fortunate to be able to raise our own children in this wonderful community. We both have children in high school who have attended this school district since Kindergarten. We are thankful for our awesome teachers who give so much to our children. It’s such a small way to give back compared to the tireless hours that our teachers give all of our kids.”
Tracey and Kelly also recently attended a back-to-school meet and greet in a local Fort Mill neighborhood, for Kindergarten through 5th graders, where they handed out goodie bags chock-full of school supplies, such as pencils, erasers, and more.
“It’s important to be involved in our community. The kids really loved it and it allowed them to meet some of their classmates before school started,” concluded Tracey. “The parents were also able to connect with one another. We have many new homeowners moving to our area, and our outstanding school district is one factor that attracts them.”
