Reading, UK (PRWEB UK) 4 February 2014
The Caice Attenuator Selector, available free of charge for use by Mechanical and Electrical Services specifiers, enables users to quickly produce comprehensive and precise product schedules which allow like-for-like competitive tendering.
HVAC attenuator products can be selected based on a wide range of project requirements including noise criteria, air volume, pressure loss, unit size and construction options. Product selections can be scheduled, stored, shared with colleagues and exported into Microsoft Excel or Adobe PDF format to support the creation of project specification documents.
Specifiers can have confidence that scheduled products will achieve the required performance based on UKAS accredited performance data – a first for the industry.
The full launch of the software follows a successful trial at the beginning of January which saw a strong uptake of the package with more than 250 unique registrations for the software within the first week of the limited release.
Ken Amott, Managing Director for Caice, said: “After strong enthusiasm for the software from the industry and a proven track record of success within Caice’s own tendering processes, this is a significant development in our software strategy.”
“We have worked closely with our peers to understand the needs of busy project teams in today’s challenging market conditions. The Caice Attenuator Selector provides an unrivalled solution which will support teams in the specification and tendering stages of a project.”
The software package was designed and developed by Caice’s in-house software development team resulting in Caice achieving a Silver Application Development certification from the Microsoft Partner Network.
The software is available now and can be downloaded free from the Caice website at http://www.caice.co.uk/attenuatorselector.
