Azane Inc to Discuss Benefits of Low Charge Ammonia Refrigeration at ATMOsphere 2017 in San Diego
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 05, 2017 -- US manufacturer of low charge ammonia chillers and condensing units, Azane Inc, has been invited to present a paper on Diverse Applications for Low Charge Ammonia at the landmark annual event ATMOSphere America. Taking place 5-7 June 2017 in sunny San Diego, ATMOsphere is a frontrunner in natural refrigerant adoption, legislation and incentives, serving as the leading forum for discussion about the business case for natural refrigerants in North America.
The three day conference is set to attract over 400 industry professionals and the programme includes dynamic discussions, networking opportunities, interactive panels and an awards ceremony to celebrate natural refrigerants market leaders. One of Azane’s specialist experts will contribute to the knowledge-sharing event by educating delegates about low charge ammonia and its growing dominance in the refrigeration industry.
Caleb Nelson, VP Business Development of Azane, will present a paper on June 6th discussing package low charge ammonia systems and the many benefits including the ability to increase system efficiency and safety while reducing life-cycle costs. Systems with optimized refrigerant charges and reliable designs were developed over 20 years ago in Europe and are now being installed in the US for several multi-national, multi-billion dollar companies. Applications range from industrial process, breweries/wineries and supermarkets to HVAC, ice rink, refrigerated storage and frozen storage and provide unique benefits to end users while allowing for a future proof, natural solution.
Nelson will review recent installations that highlight the unique advantages of air cooled package low charge ammonia systems as well as give an update on the increasing uptake of the technology in the US.
Mr Nelson said, “As a worldwide manufacturer of ammonia refrigeration systems, Azane is perfectly positioned to share its knowledge and experience in low charge ammonia refrigeration at this crucial industry event. It’s really exciting that the industry is showing an increased interest in natural refrigerants which offer a range of economic and environmental benefits.”
Nelson will share his in-depth knowledge of the ammonia market and present a range of recent case studies of packaged low ammonia refrigeration systems in different applications including supermarkets and food manufacturers, in addition to revealing the importance of TEWI (Total Equivalent Warming Impact). Air cooled ammonia is directly compared to water-cooled ammonia and R507 to determine which refrigerant and sytem offers the least global warming impact.
To conclude, Nelson presents ammonia as the refrigerant of the future and rounding up the advantages linked to its increased used in non-traditional applications, as well as recent improvements in the technology which allows for the lowest TEWI possible and the lowest running costs when combined with air cooled condensers that consume no water.
ATMOSpere is dedicated to creating interactive workshops which bring together decision makers in government and from industry to present the business case for natural refrigerants. In addition to ATMOsphere America, the organization also organizes global events in Australia, Asia and Europe.
ATMOsphere America 2017 runs from 5-7 June at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego, California. For more information about the event and to register to attend, visit the website: http://www.atmo.org/america2017
