Rock/Creek Celebrates Bike to Work Day with CamelBak on May 16th
Chattanooga, TN (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- In honor of National Bike Month, Rock/Creek, a leading outdoor clothing and gear retailer, will join Bike Chattanooga & the City of Chattanooga to celebrate cycling in the United States. Rock/Creek is giving away two Camelbak hydration packs to encourage people to dust off their bikes and go for a ride, or just ride more, and motivate others to do so as well.
Bike Month’s signature event is National Bike to Work Day on May 16, an engaging celebration which encourages riders to try commuting to work by bicycle. A number of energizer stations will be set up at Miller Plaza in downtown Chattanooga during the morning rush hour (7-9 AM) to greet cyclists on their way to work with entertainment, free food and refreshing drinks.
The highlight of this year’s event will be guided group rides from various locations throughout the community, supported by local bike shops and volunteer ride leaders. Bike to Work Day partners hope that group rides will encourage first-time commuters to give pedaling to work a try.
