Ms. Chen will participate in a panel entitled “EB-5 from the Front Lines: How to Survive in a Challenging Market and Make Projects More Competitive Globally” together with Eren Cicekdagi, Ed Beshara, Ileana Boza, Bruno L’Ecuyer, and Steve Smith.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 21, 2019
CanAm Enterprises (“CanAm”) is pleased to announce that its Chief Operating Officer, Christine Chen, will speak at IIUSA’s 9th Annual EB-5 Industry Forum which takes place on October 28-30, 2019 in Seattle, WA. The forum is organized by Invest in the USA (IIUSA), a national membership-based not-for-profit industry trade association advocating for the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
The discussion will cover the transition of the EB-5 industry from single-market to a global market with investors from different cultures and with diverse needs. The panel will also focus on adapting to the new EB-5 regulations, in particular, the increased investment amounts.
“I am very excited to join this panel. With new regulations becoming effective in less than a month, the EB-5 market is indeed changing quickly. CanAm actively operates in a number of different markets for its EB-5 fundraising, and I am happy to share our views with other EB-5 industry stakeholders,” commented Ms. Chen.
CanAm invites everyone to attend the Annual EB-5 Industry Forum. Prospective investors pursuing permanent residency in the United States are also invited to read CanAm’s EB-5 Program Overview and inquire about the EB-5 Visa options through one of the various contact options.
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is administered by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Program provides qualified foreign investors with the opportunity to earn “conditional” or temporary two-year visas in return for investing $500,000 (or $900,000 after November 21, 2019) in businesses located in high unemployment areas that create or retain at least ten permanent full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
