The Provisor Group Initiates Charity Campaign in Collaboration with Ronald McDonald House to Support Local Children and Their Families
Cape Coral, FL (PRWEB) August 04, 2016 -- The Provisor Group, serving families of the west coast of Florida from offices in Cape Coral with their ongoing community involvement program, introduces a new charity campaign to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida. On behalf of families with hospitalized children, donations are now being accepted at: http://www.rmhcswfl.org/how-can-i-help/donate/.
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMH) is an internationally venerated nonprofit organization which supports the families of children around the world who are hospitalized with serious injuries and illnesses. Providing all the comforts of home, at RMH families may enjoy home-cooked meals, private rooms and playrooms for the kids. Providing parents and siblings with housing in safe and peaceful locations close to children receiving treatment means that families may support each other during stressful hospital stays. Founded on the simple premise that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or how they will keep the family together – RMH is often referred to as ‘The House That Love Built’. Keeping families together and nearby raises all family members’ spirits, enables parents to communicate more effectively with their children’s medical teams, and facilitates healing.
“It’s a pleasure to be supporting Ronald McDonald House and all they do for hospitalized kids,” said Edwin Pickett, owner of The Provisor Group. “They provide comfort and peace-of-mind to families struggling with extremely challenging circumstances. We feel honored to do anything at all we can to help.”
The agency itself has pledged to donate $10 to RMH for each and every recommendation they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary, making it very easy for everyone in the community to pitch in and help. The fundraiser for RMH is also featured in the agency’s monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in Cape Coral and along the gulf coast of Florida.
