Ray Price Capital City Bikefest to Showcase Unique Collection of Motorcycles From Top Custom Builders
Raleigh, N.C. (PRWEB) September 19, 2016 -- Raleigh’s streets rev to life for the 12th Annual Ray Price Capital City Bikefest on September 23-25, 2016, presented by GEICO Motorcycle. Weekend highlights include the state’s largest custom bike show, sanctioned by the International Master Bike Builders Assoc. This event features many of North America’s most acclaimed motorcycle builders invited to display their one-of-a-kind designs at the Raleigh Convention Center. The event is free and open to the public on Sat., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sun., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The custom bike show features hundreds of unique two-wheel art from professional and hobbyist bike building artists who specialize in radical designs, vintage and modern motorcycle fabrication, paint and engineering. The Ray Price Capital City Bikefest and Motorsports Expo is among select bike shows sanctioned by the International Master Bike Builders Association and is sponsored by Misfit Industries and Ryd Wheels.
“The invited builders will bring an unbelievable level of expertise and unique designs to this year’s show,” said Mark Hendrix, general manager of Ray Price, Inc., the festival organizer. “We're excited to showcase this type of artistry that adds a unique dimension to Raleigh’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.”
Other Expo events inside the Convention Center include the weekend-long Raleigh Tattoofest, sponsored by Warlock Tattoos, with proceeds benefiting charity. A garage-style Pinup Contest that will crown the 2016 Miss Capital City Bikefest, sponsored by Dames, Planes & Automobiles Magazine. The free, family-friendly festival also offers a diverse schedule of indoor and outdoor live music and stunt shows downtown.
