In a new article on career well-being and new eBook, “Guide to Strengthening Career Well-Being,” career guidance leader Career Key, http://www.careerkey.org, offers practical tips and activities for improving one’s satisfaction with life and work. According to Career Key Founder Dr. Lawrence K. Jones and Career Key President Juliet Wehr Jones who wrote the eBook, “we want people to answer ‘yes’ to the question, ‘do you like what you do every day?’” Doing so strengthens career well-being, one of five elements of well-being Gallup describes based on scientific analysis from their Gallup World Poll.

One way to strengthen career well-being is to choose paid or unpaid work that matches one’s strongest Holland personality types. Decades of research show close matches between one’s strongest Holland personality types and work environments lead to higher job satisfaction, job performance, and engagement.
