Carol Matney, a corporate business retiree, has completed her new book “St. Nick's Clique”: a beautifully illustrated children’s book about the power of working together and relying on friends in times of need.

Matney writes, “One day, St. Nick watched the reindeer playing in the snow.

“I have a mission for you,” he told them. The reindeer became very excited when St. Nick told them a wonderful secret. He would teach them how to fly!

“Will you give us brand new names?” a reindeer asked.

“Yes, I will,” St. Nick replied. “Tell me when you are the happiest,” he asked the first reindeer. “When I’m running in the snow as fast as I can,” he replied.”

Can you guess this reindeer’s name?

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Carol Matney’s exciting tale details how St. Nick's wife had special gifts made by the elves for each of the reindeer for their hard work.

Each reindeer brings their own unique gifts to St. Nick's clique. In the end, another reindeer with a shiny red nose is discovered, who has a special gift of his own.

Readers who wish to experience this holiday story can purchase “St. Nick's Clique” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
