Titular Character 'HILDA' Symbolizes Author's Cancer in New Book
CARMEL, Ind. (PRWEB) July 28, 2016 -- “HILDA: Health Imbalance Leukemia Diagnosis Adventure” (published by Balboa Press) is a spiritual memoir chronicling the author’s 15 year adventure with a diagnosis of leukemia.
Only after accepting, embracing and imaginatively creating a relationship with the "uninvited condition" does she uncover the circumstances to discover her own healing into wholeness, a transformation embraced with gratitude and grace.
This uninvited character, who manifests materially as an elephant named Hilda, moves in with three roommates: Maggie, the positive, ever-expressive, innocent higher self-perspective of the author; Carol Margaret, the controlling, follow-the-rules, judgmental and need-to-be-right, self-critical aspect of the author; and finally, Carol, the growing-in-awareness, appreciative, integrating and mindful voice of the author herself, Carol M. H. Roth.
Through discovering, reconciling, and integrating three competing voices, the author shares a context which provides opportunity for transformative healing on multiple levels. This method of dialogue beckons readers to pursue and revisit their own "uninvited guests" and begin their personal healing experience.
When asked what her book was about, author Roth stated, "While this story relays the discoveries, learnings, and gifts of my 15 year adventurous experience with a supposedly incurable disease, it's really my personal testimony about the power of CHOICE as a transformative, divine blessing for living from vision with the intention of good, love and possibility at the center of every experience. No matter what, ‘it’ (whatever ‘it’ is) always gets better!"
