Carrie Russell Appointed to Finn AI Board of Directors
Banking and technology veteran joins the firm as Independent Director
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Finn AI today announced the appointment of Carrie Russell as an independent director of the company, effective immediately. This announcement follows the successful $14 Million (USD $11 Million) Series A financing round that Finn AI closed in October 2018. With Russell's appointment, the Finn AI Board expands to five directors, with Russell serving as the independent director.
Russell is a well-recognized executive in both banking and technology and is known for her work as an innovative product / solution provider and a business line leader. Prior to joining the Finn AI board, Russell worked closely with the company as a technology, market, and product strategy advisor, providing deep domain experience derived from 25 years in the financial services and technology industries.

Formerly, Russell was SVP at TD Bank where she led businesses within Everyday Banking, Merchant Services, Wealth Management divisions, and later as EVP, CMO, and Head of Innovation at D+H (now Finastra), a leading North American B2B software company.

Russell is a graduate of McGill University where she received an Honours BA and is a graduate of the Corporate Directors Program from DeGroote School of Management.
