Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade Hosts Community Celebration
Frederick community and Rotary celebrate three years of kinetic art in Downtown Frederick
FREDERICK, Md., Oct. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Rotary Club of Carroll Creek will host its first private celebration of the Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade at Union Mills Public House (340 East Patrick Street, Frederick Maryland) on Carroll Creek to celebrate the first three years of presenting public kinetic art in Carroll Creek. This private celebration event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Artists, Sponsors, Partners and engaged community members will come together to experience the first three successful years and the plans for the next three years.
The Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade is a not-for-profit privately funded project initiated and managed by the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. While expressing a blend of moving water and wind, the Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade displays the beauty of nature in Carroll Creek, and hosts kinetic artwork from regional artisans, bringing dazzling colors and movement to all visitors and residents in Downtown Frederick.
Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade adds beautification to Downtown Frederick, Maryland by offering residents and organizations the opportunity to sponsor regional artisans in the creation of kinetic art sculptures or to partner their resources towards the display of artwork in the middle of Carroll Creek year around.
The display of eight kinetic art sculptures may be found along the segment of Carroll Creek Linear Park located east of East Street in historic Downtown Frederick.
