"This book is a collection of the best healing methods that we know of, those that will help people in distress to feel better quickly," the authors write.

Cathy Thomas and Leslie Evelo felt it themselves – the overwhelming stress and pain of a world in upheaval. Their clients were feeling it, too, so Thomas and Evelo began to look outside the world of traditional talk therapy for tools to speed up the healing process. They decided to share these healing tools with others, and the result is their newly published book, "Spiritual Prescriptions for Turbulent Times: 7 Paths to Lead You Quickly from Inner Turmoil to Inner Peace" (published by Balboa Press).

Thomas and Evelo are psychotherapists with over 50 years’ combined experience. Their practical new guidebook is a collection of alternative and non-traditional healing methods to help readers find peace and fulfillment in the midst of chaos. They have chosen strategies that are effective and fast-acting, providing immediate help to anyone suffering emotionally.
