Some people have deep affection for animals. Author Herta Rousseau is one of them. Her love for cats leads her to create a charming book that contains illustrations of adorable felines. “Cat Tails” (published by Xlibris) will certainly catch the attention of cat lovers everywhere.
Rousseau’s love for art, drawing and cats inspired her to create the drawings in this book for her children. “Cat Tails” depicts cats as people, dressed in people's clothing, involved in people’s everyday activities. As most people seem to love animals and since society is becoming more animal friendly, this is a book that virtually everyone can relate to. It is an easy, cheerful read which takes readers from everyday mundane stresses into the minds of modern cats, who undoubtedly see themselves as relevant in today's world.
An enjoyable read, “Cat Tails” imparts humorous one-liners and quips with colorful sketches of cats and their owners. It reflects the integral part of these pets in their family’s life. Every depiction is unique. The author hopes that this book will remind readers that animals, by their very nature, really do make them better people.
