The addition of these experts will provide clients with expanded access to practical, profit-oriented Financial and Foodservice Consulting across a broad range of hospitality property types and business models, and as hands-on support in implementing their recommendations.
Walter O'Connell, Managing Director of Hotel Valuation & Cost Segregation Services (HVCSS), specializes in a variety of services, which include valuation of tangible assets, financing, tax depreciation, insurance, and cost segregation studies. With a career spanning manufacturing, distribution, and hospitality, Walter has held positions responsible for material requirements planning, resource planning, national and international procurement of supplies and equipment, cost allocation studies, and inventory accounting, he is exceptionally proficient in his unique practice areas. In addition to his notable career in financial services, Walter holds Bachelor's Degree in both Economics and Finance, as well as a Master's in Economics, and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser.
Timothy O'Mara has managed foodservice operations in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and private clubs. His consulting work of more than 20 years has earned him a wide base of clients in the Higher Education, Healthcare, Business and Industry, and Military market segments. Specializing in requests for proposals (RFP), operational and financial auditing, contract negotiation, and with a keen ability to lead teams in foodservice master planning, Tim has legions of projects in which his expertise has provided productive and profitable outcomes for his clients. Tim is a graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration and holds an MBA from Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management.
