San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 14, 2013 -- Cemetery.us.org has strengthened the customer encryption process to increase data security for their customers, the company announced yesterday.
“One of the main concerns we get from our customers is about data privacy,” a Cemetery.us.org spokesman said. “In response, we had our IT department create a new data protection service to further encrypt their dealings with us.”
Under the new encryption service, the customer's name will no longer be associated with their account, the Cemetery.us.org spokesman said.
“Instead, the system will see the customer as an encrypted code number,” the Cemetery.us.org spokesman said. “This means that it will be impossible for anyone, including our employees, to ever find out who initiated a search.”
Cemetery.us.org has never had a problem with anyone's data being leaked, he said.
“Lately there have been some concerns about other sites that have had customer data problems,” the Cemetery.us.org spokesman said. “This has customers concerned about data privacy on all sites, which raised their level of concern. We felt it was our job to respond to those concerns.”
The new encryption will not slow down the site or the search functions, the Cemetery.us.org spokesman said.
“This will run in the background,” he said. “Customers should not notice any difference at all. They can expect the same level of expert fast service that we have always provided them with.”
