Adoption of the cfactor employee job board solution points to large returns for health regions, with 15,000 applications already being received in under the first three months of use.

(cfactor), developer of socially infused Human Resource technologies, shared the early results of a new online job board implemented to create efficiencies for 3S Health, the organization responsible for providing shared services to Saskatchewan’s Regional Health Authorities and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. The metrics indicate tremendous efficiencies in the way that the health organization enables employees to apply for open internal positions.

The cfactor job board solution is designed to streamline the job notification and application process from end-to-end across numerous locations and regions. Previously, the process was initiated and carried through to completion manually, involving printing paper copies of job opportunities and physically posting them in a number of locations for employees to view. Some of the challenges with the former process included the administrative time and associated costs for a person to complete the job posting form, physically print and post jobs, as well as collect and sort applicants, verify qualifications based on labour rules, all within a reasonable time frame. By streamlining and automating it online, these challenges will be alleviated.

In just under 3 months, there were approximately 2000 job postings initiated, with an average of 350 job postings being open at any time. The system has received overwhelming adoption by candidates, with 15,000 applications being made online.
