US Sports Camps and Nike Golf Camps Announce New Overnight Camp Location at Charleston Southern University
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Nike Golf Camps announces the addition of a junior golf camp in Charleston at Charleston Southern University. Participants are housed on campus in the dorms at CSU and head to The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation for golf instruction each day. Nike Campers also have the privilege of an exquisite day-trip to Kiawah Island, SC for instruction and 18 holes of golf during the camp week.
During the morning instructional sessions, campers train in small groups on putting, chipping, pitching and full-swing. Each afternoon, golfers continue their training in course play focusing on shot selection, course management, rules and etiquette under the supervision of the camp staff. In the evenings, campers engage in activities ranging from swimming, movies, field games and campus tours, while residing in the campus dormitories at Charleston Southern University.

The Nike Golf Camp at Charleston Southern University is directed by CUS Head Coach, Mike Wilson. Wilson started his coaching career in 1999 right out of college for CSU, where he played for four years. Wilson had success as a player before beginning a career in coaching, winning the 2001 Santee Amateur Champion before becoming a PGA professional in 2001. Wilson looks forward to helping each and every camper improve fundamental skills and overall course confidence.

I have worked at several Nike Camps in the past and really have enjoyed the experience,” says CSU Head Coach, Mike Wilson. “I believe anyone that attends this camp will not only have a great time, but learn a lot about what it takes to improve their individual golf game.”
Nike Golf Camp at Charleston Southern University has an overnight program which includes all golf activities, meals, housing and evening activities and an extended day option, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm each day, which includes everything but housing and breakfast. The camp is open to boys and girls of all abilities, ages 10 to 18, and will take place from June 22nd – 26th, 2014.
