Embrace Home Loans, a full-service national lender for the past 30 years, has been acknowledged by Inc. Magazine among the winners of the 2013 Inc. Hire Power Awards, recognizing private companies that are leading the way in creating American jobs. This is the second year the Hire Power Awards have been awarded and they are gaining much attention.

Charlottesville is the perfect location between our offices in Greater DC and those in the Salem/Lynchburg markets of Southern Virginia.

Embrace Home Loans has expanded 90% in the last 3 years, by adding a Retail Branch Origination Division in 2009 and a Correspondent Origination Division just this year. With the mortgage industry in transition due to influences like the rise in interest rates, transforming from the single business model of Direct Origination by adding these new divisions has been an important move for Embrace. They continue to expand by opening branch offices in strategic markets across the country, most recently, opening their 20th Retail Branch Office in Charlottesville, VA. Said Embrace President Kurt Noyce, “We’re delighted with Inc.’s recognition of our growth and history of creating good jobs...we’re, though, even more excited with the addition of Dan and the team he is assembling. Charlottesville is the perfect location between our offices in Greater DC and those in the Salem/Lynchburg markets of Southern Virginia. We have been eager to serve that market and with Dan, we now have the ideal leader.”

This new branch, located on Remson Court in Charlottesville, will focus on purchase sales specializing in realtor, builder and other referral business. Dan MacDougall will serve as Branch Manager of this Charlottesville location. MacDougall has been in the mortgage industry for 18 years serving in various capacities. Prior to joining Embrace, he held the Production Branch Manager position with PrimeLending. He developed a program offering a mortgage discount for the Teachers of Albemarle County. This program has grown, helping teachers, professors and school employees in over 2000 public schools, community colleges, universities and private schools across the state of Virginia. “With the technology available at Embrace Home Loans, I hope to grow the program to over 5000 Schools by the end of 2014!” says MacDougall.

Over the next few months, MacDougall and Embrace Home Loans will hire Loan Officers to staff our 20th Retail Branch Office. Continuing the Embrace expansion and growing the sales force.
