Business-Savvy Brothers Eager to Grow Checkers® Presence in Maryland
Tampa, FL. The latest members to join the fast-growing team are brothers Dharmesh and Nimesh Shah, who are looking to open their first restaurant in Baltimore City in 2015.
The Shah brothers have been working together in the retail industry as co-owners and operators of their family-oriented business for more than a decade. The family’s portfolio of Maryland businesses, which began with their father and uncles, includes liquor stores, convenience stores and a gas station. In addition to extensive experience in retail, Nimesh also owned a fast food restaurant for nine years before selling it to focus on Checkers.

Nimesh and Dharmesh hope to open their first restaurant in Baltimore City before expanding to surrounding communities. Their plan is to open at least two more restaurants in the next two years.
