The Chicago Blackhawks are excited to partner with Just Be Friends to create a community-building and youth-engagement app that combines sports, animation, gaming and technology.
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) October 09, 2014
Young fans of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks can now create a stronger connection with their favorite team, using a new app created by Just Be Friends. The new app, Club Blackhawks, was developed by Just Be Friends and is geared towards young fans of all ages. Fans wanting to see what the app is all about can check out the video created for the team.
The Club Blackhawks app is not only the first of its kind for any professional sports team, but it was created to offer a safe experience for young fans. With parental security built in, children will be able to safely create their own fantasy team, share content, answer trivia, and more. The app is free, and is available for download on the Apple App Store and at clubblackhawks.com. Fans can use the app on their iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, with an Android version soon to be released.
“The Chicago Blackhawks are excited to partner with Just Be Friends to create a community-building and youth-engagement app that combines sports, animation, gaming and technology,” said Pete Hassen, Senior Executive Director of Marketing for the Blackhawks. “We’re looking forward to this great opportunity to connect with our growing youth fan base.”
Janice Taylor, CEO of Just Be Friends, is fired up about the new partnership with Chicago. “We are honored to be the provider of choice for such a community minded franchise like the Chicago Blackhawks. The app is available for immediate download, with additional features and games already in development for future updates.”
