San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Mother Goose School is excited to announce that the theme for the month of May will be “It’s a Small World.” All month long, they will be celebrating the varied cultural heritages of San Francisco. They will have opportunities to taste a variety of foods and discuss a multitude of cultural festivals. Mother Goose School encourages families to share stores, music and clothing representing their heritage. This theme exposes children to different cultural ethnicities and languages from around the world.
The children will be performing at the annual multi-cultural show at Mother Goose School. Parents and families are encouraged to come and watch their children perform songs and dances from regions around the world, including Japan, Greece, Hawaii, Germany, Mexico, Argentina and the United States.
Parents are encouraged to get involved this month and participate in class presentations that reflect their cultural heritage. Ideas for involvement include families sharing songs, stories, crafts and/or a special snack.
The “Parents Only Open House” is a semi-annual event that takes place this month. Teachers will display the children’s crafts and activities, demonstrating their expert preschool skills in letter formation, painting, cutting and assembly, writing their names and coloring. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to get acquainted and speak casually with their child’s teacher. Mother Goose School’s expert chef will provide light refreshments and snacks for this event.
Mother Goose School is happy to report that a majority of their families have settled on a school of their choice and have had successful experiences in the kindergarten selection process for their children.
