The Wickman Agency Launches Charity Event to Promote Child Auto Safety Through Safe Kids Greater Dallas
Garland, TX (PRWEB) November 14, 2016 -- The Wickman Agency, a Texas-based firm that provides insurance and financial consultation services from offices headquartered in Dallas, is announcing a charity effort to raise funds for the Safe Kids Greater Dallas in promoting vehicular child safety.
2015 statistics on automobile collisions from the Texas Department of Transportation show that more than half of fatalities in young children due to vehicle accidents were the result of improper usage of safety restraints. Safe Kids Greater Dallas, led by the Children’s Medical Center Dallas, provides a series of programs to parents and caregivers of children to educate and inform them on the requirements and realities of child auto safety.
“So many injuries relating to automotive accidents involving children are preventable, and this charity event is designed to help raise awareness of auto safety programs for parents in our community,” says Diana Wickman, the owner and acting manager of the Wickman Agency.
