The Center for Health Affairs Releases Childhood Obesity Issue Brief
Cleveland (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- The Center for Health Affairs’ most recent publication, Childhood Obesity: Weighing in on a Generation at Risk, has been released in conjunction with the launch of a new section of The Center’s website devoted to health and wellness. The workplace wellness programs issue site focuses on what employers are doing to promote wellness in the workplace. Visitors to the site can access a wide range of resources related to workplace wellness including selected readings, white papers from The Center and other websites with additional information.
Along with information regarding workplace wellness, the site will feature the June childhood obesity issue brief. The white paper highlights current childhood obesity trends, what is driving them and a variety of initiatives and policy solutions that may have the potential to turn the trend lines around. The childhood obesity issue brief will be distributed to more than five hundred community members, hospital providers and allied organizations throughout northeast Ohio, and will also be made available online.
