Children are the most valuable resource we have, and the Boys and Girls Club charity is one of the most secure investments we can make in our children’s futures.

Chris Humphrey Insurance Agency, a locally owned insurance firm with offices that serve Goldsboro, Kinston, and locations throughout Wayne County, is continuing a longstanding charity effort by announcing a fund raising program that will support two local chapters of the Boys and Girls Club of America, a venerated non-profit organization that provides direction and life training for children and young adults nationwide.

The stated mission of the Boys and Girls Club of America is to offer young people a secure place to grow, learn, and build aptitudes while forging lifelong relationships and friendships with adults and peers in the local community. The programs provided by the Boys and Girls Club of America are intended to increase self-confidence, improve aptitude, and sharpen social skills, as well as giving young people a sense of belonging and the strength to build a better future.

“Children are the most valuable resource we have, and the Boys and Girls Club charity is one of the most secure investments we can make in our children’s futures,” says Chris Humphrey, owner and manager of the Chris Humphrey Insurance Agency. “With the work they’ve done and continue to do, the Boys and Girls Club has earned the support of everyone in our community, and we’re proud to join their fundraising effort.”

Drawing from an extensive list of professional and personal contacts, Chris Humphrey and his team are gathering support for the Boys and Girls Club from areas all across the North Carolina coastal plains. Resources have also been invested into creating an online presence through social media channels, and the Humphrey team is planning on receiving support from families throughout the state.

The Boys and Girls Club of America are only the latest charity to be supported by Chris Humphrey and his team. As part of an ongoing commitment to be an ‘agent of change’ in the local community, Chris Humphrey Insurance has supported nearly a dozen charities over the last year, and plans to support another new charity every two months from here forward.
