Choices Recovery Discusses Hollywood's Substance Abuse Problems With TV/Film Star Brett Stimely
Hollywood, California (PRWEB) April 07, 2015 -- On February 21st, 2015, Choices Recovery had the opportunity to sponsor Debbie Durkin’s EcoLuxe Lounge and the “salute to the Oscars” celebration, honoring the 2015 Oscar Awards nominees. Held in the Stardust Penthouse on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the EcoLuxe Lounge saw a gathering of many of the world’s premier providers of socially conscious and ecologically friendly products and services. Durkin Entertainment, the leading producer of sustainable product placement in film and TV, organized the daylong event, where many of Hollywood’s notable contributors to the entertainment industry stopped in to enjoy the rustic American décor overlooking the stunning Los Angeles skyline and to learn more about the natural, holistic and eco-friendly goods and services showcased there.

Among the attendees at the EcoLuxe Lounge was film and TV star Brett Stimely, who has played numerous roles over his almost 3 decade long career, including characters in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” and “Watchmen”, among many others. In an interview with Per and AMP Radio’s Chris Booker, which has been released on the Choices Recovery’s YouTube channel, Brett spoke about some of the problems of substance abuse that he has seen over his time in the Hollywood scene. “You go to a party 15 years ago, and you saw bowls of cocaine on the table,” Brett recalls. “It’s a smaller bowl today, but it’s still there.”
