Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation Partners with Sanctri to Remember Jesse and All the Sandy Hook Victims
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Sanctri (sanctri.com) announced today a series of partnerships and a new place on Facebook to remember six-year old Jesse Lewis and the 25 other victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, last December 14th.
Jesse’s mother, Scarlett Lewis, chose to create a Sanctri Facebook memorial as a new way to honor her son. “Jesse was a remarkable child, full of light and love that radiated.” As the rest of the world prepares to look back at Sandy Hook one year on, this Facebook app is a new place for them to go. “We wanted somewhere special on Facebook where the world can come together to pay tribute to his joyful life.”
In an effort to further commemorate Jesse, Sanctri has partnered with the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation and is encouraging users to donate to the foundation, via Jesse’s Sanctri. “It’s the world’s gift to him and his family,” says Kathy Eldon, a co-founder of Sanctri who wanted to give people a better way to remember those who have passed away. “Everyone is invited to experience and share Jesse’s legacy of love, gratitude and compassion.”
The Elisabeth Kubler- Ross Foundation also partners with Sanctri’s effort to memorialize on Facebook and provides resources for the families of the Sandy Hook victims and the entire Sanctri community. “I think that if Elisabeth were alive she would cheer the message “about loving each other and creating opportunities that celebrate life,” says president Dianne Gray.
Sanctri is a place for people to collaborate in painting a picture of a life that was. Anyone can create a memorial, and then users are invited to share thoughts, photos, memories, and donate in memory. The recently launched app has created a community for all of the Sandy Hook victims, and is hoping more families like the Lewis’s will get involved.
