The all-new Cigar Advisor Magazine is an online cigar magazine that brings a fresh, irreverent, and down-to-earth perspective on all things cigars to thousands of smokers. In addition to educational cigar content and behind-the-scenes cigar industry articles from some of the business’s top names, Cigar Advisor delivers an array of content about a variety of topics of interest to people who enjoy the cigar lifestyle. The magazine also features cigar reviews and ratings submitted by real smokers. The Cigar Advisor editors, led by contributor Nathan Meunier, have just published their picks for the best Fall beers out this season.

Nathan Meunier, a Cigar Advisor contributor, enjoys craft and seasonal beers – so much, that he has advised the Advisors when it comes to “Must-Try Fall Beers,” now published in this month’s edition of the magazine. “For craft beer lovers, the arrival of rare seasonal brews is as good an excuse as any to stock up the old man-fridge with some fresh palate-pleasers.” This, he says, is what he calls “trading in the low-alcohol lawnmower beers for the higher test brethren” – or, darker brews packed with both richer flavors and alcohol content.

Nathan discusses a variety of Fall beers, breaking each out by Alcohol-by-Volume (or ABV), the style in which the beer is brewed, and the brewery that produces the beer. He also provides guidance for those who don’t have as much experience identifying beers, giving a “Styles 101 Beer Primer” that notes the qualities of the more common craft beer styles – including porters, stouts, brown ales, IPAs and lagers, among others.

In addition to discussing the tasting notes of each beer, Meunier talks ratings and recommendations about what kind of beer enthusiast would enjoy it most. It’s a special time of year, he adds: “With Oktoberfest right around the corner, finding your next perfect pint to quaff shouldn't be too tricky – and if you need a jump-start, we’ve come up with a great sampling of must-try Fall craft beers to ease into the colder season.”
