Every year I participate in this amazing race it provides me with hope and belief that the clients who we represent who have suffered terrible injuries will once again become active and be able to once again participate in athletic activities.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) December 04, 2013
In its continuing commitment to give back to charitable organizations and academic institutions, Claggett & Sykes Law Firm participated in the annual Challenged Athletes Foundation San Diego Triathlon Challenge in October to help raise money for the foundation.
The personal injury attorneys from Claggett & Sykes entered two relay teams in the triathlon, a swimming, biking and running event meant to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.
“Every year I participate in this amazing race it provides me with hope and belief that the clients who we represent who have suffered terrible injuries will once again become active and be able to once again participate in athletic activities,” said attorney Sean Claggett, who completed a one-mile swim competing in a team with his partners William Sykes, who endured the 40-mile bike ride, and Matthew Granda, who ran for 10 miles.
The three partners competed with many other athletes, some of whom were paralyzed or missing limbs. The attorneys at Claggett & Sykes understand the struggles and accomplishments of such athletes from representing people who have been injured because of the negligence of others. Such injuries arise from car accidents (http://www.caraccidentlasvegas.com), bicycle wrecks, pedestrian hits (http://www.pedestrianinjurylv.com), slip and falls, or even dog bites. Claggett & Sykes also represents people who have been injured or killed due to defective products (http://www.productdefectlasvegas.com).
A law firm with a social conscience, the Las Vegas-based Claggett & Sykes has built an excellent reputation in the community by donating a portion of fees earned from representing injured people to charitable organizations, and academic institutions, such as CAF.
Like CAF, Claggett & Sykes believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. Because of that belief, the attorneys bring their expertise and superior knowledge of understanding their client’s injuries and the medical treatment necessary to ensure the best possible recovery for their clients.
