Prior to joining RapidScale, Mr. Hamlett served as the Vice President of Business development for three years at Colo4 Dallas, now TierPoint, Dallas. While there, he found great success in leading sales and business development for the company.
Mr. Hamlett brings over 12 years of industry carrier services, colocation and cloud services experience to the team. His track record includes leading large sales teams and working with organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 corporations in the development and implementation of data center strategies. Before joining TierPoint, he served as General Manager with Level3 Communications in Dallas, where he worked extensively with large enterprise organizations. Mr. Hamlett has also served as the Vice President of Sales for XO communications and is a member of Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), a non-profit organization providing resources for established and start-up technology companies. Moreover, prior to embarking on his civilian career, he served for four years in the United States Navy.
