Schmitt, RN, MBA as its Vice President, Product Management. In this newly formed position at CMI, Schmitt’s role will center on the development and marketing of educational products for its healthcare-focused association clients.

Schmitt’s twenty plus years of successes include roles as the Director of Strategic Marketing for the Cleveland Clinic Health Care System, Director of Healthcare Marketing at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and consultant for United Health Care of Ohio. She has worked on the Outcomes Steering committees at the Cleveland Clinic and served as a patient and employee experience facilitator. In addition, she is an experienced consultant in new market penetration for healthcare communication technology startups. Her extensive background and proven results in these areas will complement CMI’s efforts to facilitate the development and viability of its clients’ current and emerging product offerings.

Alongside her business achievements, Schmitt maintains an active RN license and has demonstrated her clinical expertise in roles as a speaker at various healthcare and technology conferences, a published columnist for Nurseweek and adjunct faculty member at the American Healthcare Institute. Schmitt is also active in her local community of Gates Mills, OH, where she currently serves as a board member for the Golden Age Centers of Greater Cleveland and on the Village of Gates Mills Safety Committee.
Schmitt earned both her BA in Health Service Management and MBA from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
