Our loyal customers, who are never more than a Facebook comment or tweet away, had encouraged us to come up with a solution more sustainable for cold brewing loose leaf tea on the go than one that works only with bottled water. We listened.

The Tea Spot announces today a new product in development for making cold brewed tea easy and eco-friendly. The newest Steepware® product will be a reusable water bottle paired with the Steep & Go™ cold brew tea filter with sport cap, designed for cold brewing loose leaf tea on-the-go.

Steep & Go™ gives health conscious consumers a fresh-brewed bottled tea alternative. Ready-to-drink teas are a rapidly growing sector of the US tea market, as consumers look to reduce their intake of sweet carbonated beverages. All shelf-stable bottled teas contain some form of preservative, however. Steep & Go™ is a solution for making fresh tea in a water bottle. The Tea Spot also offers Cold Infusions cold brew tea packs – organic tea blends that infuse rapidly in cool or room temperature water. This set of products offers an on-the-go tea option packed with freshly infused antioxidants and vitamins, while free from preservatives, sugar, and flavorings. With the addition of a reusable cold brewing bottle in the Steepware® line, the Steep & Go™ cold brew bottle now makes for a sustainable alternative to bottled teas as well, appealing to environmentally minded consumers.

The Tea Spot’s CEO and Steepware® developer, Maria Uspenski, announced the development of the new product: "Our Steep & Go product has enjoyed tremendously positive customer acceptance. We listened, worked hard on a design, sourced the best possible material, and now have a sleek and practical alternative on the way, which we will be able to offer our customers in time for the 2013 holiday season."

The Steepware® cold brew bottle will be available with all three color options of the Steep & Go™ filters: Ocean, Violet and Green Tea. It will be available for sale at The Tea Spot’s online tea store, http//:theteaspot.com, later in 2013 for $14.95.

Cold Infusions cold brew tea packs come in two fast-brewing tea blends: Keep Fit & Chill Out. They are available in single-serving packs for $1.29, and 12-unit cases of individual packs for $12.99.

Cold Infusions "Keep Fit" is a 100% organic green tea blend with a natural metabolism boost. A blend of single-estate Chinese green tea with green rooibos and lemon myrtle make this fitness tea light, flavorful, and a natural source of antioxidants.

Cold Infusions "Chill Out" is a 100% organic blend of caffeine-free herbals. This blend of fast-brewing tart hibiscus petals is naturally sweetened with licorice root and peppermint leaves. The three ingredients are blended to create a well-rounded and refreshing sugar-free hydrating decaf tea, great for any time of day.
